Tencel is a cellulose fiber, used solvent spinning technology, the dry strength is a little lower than polyester, but obviously larger than general viscose, wet strength is obviously better than viscose, it has high rigidity, good washing size stability (shrink rate only for 2%), it has high hygroscopicity, fiber cross section is round or oval, with beautiful gloss, soft feel, good drapability. It could be able to meet the needs of the modern consumer, and environmental protection, called the 21st century green fibers.
